UNITED PARENT’S RESPITE PROGRAM
Respite is an opportunity for parents to take some time off from parenting a child with mental, emotional and/or behavioral disorders.
Children are matched with a trained, experienced Respite Provider who involves the child in pro-social activities in their neighborhood while the parents “de-stress”.
This short break is sometimes all that is needed to help stabilize a family.
If your family qualified, you may have up to 10 hours per month of respite.
We want you, the parent or caregiver of a child with mental, emotional and/or behavioral disorders to relax and regroup.
You need time to yourself in order to be the best parent you can be.
This “time off” is essential in providing a calm, stable home.
Our trained Respite Providers will care for your child(ren) so you need not worry.
